Junior Legal Counsel (2-3 years PQE)

Our client is a well-established multinational organisation with operations across the U.K. and Asia. As part of its continued growth, it is seeking a Legal Counsel to support a broad range of commercial and corporate legal matters while partnering closely with business stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions.

Responsibilities 

In this role, you will negotiate, draft and review a wide range of commercial agreements including non-disclosure agreements, master services agreements, procurement contracts, maintenance and repair agreements, joint venture contracts, financing documents, construction agreements and licences. You will advise on compliance matters such as anti-bribery and corruption, sanctions and export controls, support corporate governance activities including board and shareholder resolutions, minutes and corporate secretarial documentation, and liaise with external corporate secretarial providers. You will also advise on disputes and claims, manage external counsel where required, and work closely with stakeholders. 

Requirements 

The ideal candidate holds a good LLB (Hons) or JD from a reputable university and has at least 2 years of post-qualification experience gained either in private practice with a focus on corporate law or as an in-house legal counsel. You possess strong drafting and communication skills, sound commercial judgement, and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
