This is a pivotal role designed for an ambitious disputes lawyer looking to step out of the shadows of massive team structures and take true ownership of their career.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and run a diverse portfolio of commercial litigation and international arbitration files from inception to resolution under minimal partner supervision.
• Draft high-quality pleadings, affidavits, court submissions, advisory opinions, and cross-examination bundles.
• Represent clients and conduct advocacy at interlocutory hearings and trials in the State Courts and High Court, as well as in arbitration proceedings.
• Act as the primary point of contact for corporate and private clients, providing strategic, commercial legal advice and regular case updates.
• Conduct extensive legal research, formulate case strategies, and lead trial/hearing preparation, including instructing experts and handling witness assessments.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Law (LL.B. or J.D.) from a recognized university and admitted to the Singapore Bar as an Advocate and Solicitor.
• Approximately 4 to 6 years of Post-Qualification Experience (PQE) specializing in commercial litigation and/or international arbitration.
• Excellent analytical, drafting, and written communication skills, with a confident presence in the courtroom.
