Legal Associate (Corporate Real Estate)

On behalf of an established, top-tier Singapore law firm, we are exclusively seeking a junior talent to join their thriving Corporate Real Estate team. This new headcount will involve advising on large-scale commercial property transactions, real estate investment trusts (REITs), joint ventures, and high-value leasing structures.

Responsibilities

• Handle legal processes for whole property acquisitions and divestments of commercial, industrial, and residential assets.

• Draft and negotiate sale and purchase agreements (SPAs), joint venture structures, and property-holding company equity deals.

• Represent institutional landlords or anchor tenants in high-value commercial leasing and licensing transactions.

• Conduct comprehensive legal due diligence on real estate portfolios and assist with property-related financing or refinancing documentation (e.g., land and construction loans).

• Advise on stamp duty implications, land use restrictions, and coordinate with statutory bodies like JTC or HDB where applicable.

Requirements

• 0–3 years PQE (Singapore Qualified).

• We are looking for drive and adaptability. Applications are open to Newly Qualified (NQ) lawyers ready to specialize, as well as practice switchers currently in general corporate or other practice groups who want to pivot into real estate law.

• Excellent commercial acumen and strong relational skills to interface with corporate clients and institutional investors.
