Legal Associate [North MNC Up to $6K] RRKC

About the Role

We are looking for a Legal Specialist to provide legal and compliance support across our ASEAN and India operations. In this role, you will advise on commercial contracts, compliance matters, legal risks, and corporate governance while partnering closely with internal stakeholders and external legal counsel.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, including Purchase Agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements and other legal documents.
• Provide legal advice and support for business operations and strategic projects.
• Conduct legal research and maintain contract templates and legal documentation.
• Deliver legal and compliance training to business teams across the ASEAN region.
• Support compliance programs, including anti-bribery, anti-corruption, anti-cartel, fraud prevention, conflicts of interest, and whistleblowing.
• Manage whistleblowing cases and support internal investigations where required.
• Monitor changes in laws and regulations across ASEAN and India and advise stakeholders on legal implications.
• Liaise with external legal counsel on disputes, litigation, and regulatory matters.
• Support internal and external audits related to legal and compliance matters.
• Drive improvements to legal processes and contract management workflows.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior legal team members when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Law, Legal Studies, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years experience in a law firm or in-house legal and compliance role.
• Experience reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts.
• Knowledge of compliance and corporate governance practices, including anti-corruption and regulatory compliance.
• Strong legal drafting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Willing to travel occasionally within the ASEAN and India region.
