Currently, we're hiring Legal Consultant to join us with:

• 10+ years of relevant experience as in-house Finance and Banking or Commercial lawyer.
• Advise on Japan financial services and payments related legal and regulatory matters.
• Support the business in interactions with regulators and ongoing compliance related matters.
• Handle a broad range of commercial contracting and general in-house legal work.
• Work closely with regional and global stakeholders across the business and legal teams.
• Provide practical and commercially focused legal advice in a fast-moving environment.

The responsibilities for this role will include:

• Review, draft and negotiate a wide range of agreements.
• Provide practical legal advice related to financial services.
• Strong experience within Japan financial services and/or payments regulatory environments.
• Native Japanese language capability is essential.
• Experience supporting businesses operating in Japan and engaging with Japanese regulators.
• Broader commercial contracting and in house legal experience would be highly beneficial.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating across regional legal teams
