Legal Specialist (Suntec / MNC)

Responsibilities

• Manage contract repository.

• Draft and review contracts, legal documents, and correspondence.

• Support contract negotiations and transactions.

• Provide legal advice to stakeholders on risks and legal issues.

• Monitor and identify legal issues as they arise, and recommend appropriate courses of action.

• Support dispute resolution and legal proceedings when required.

• Provide legal and compliance training to stakeholders.

• Support the implementation of the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) or equivalent regulations across affiliates in the Asia region.

• Coordinate and collaborate with external legal counsel and internal departments as needed.

• Conduct legal research.

• Support ISO and ISCC-related matters.

• Assist with compliance and corporate governance matters.

• Handle other ad hoc administrative, legal, and compliance-related tasks.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in corporate legal work.

• Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) or a Diploma in Legal Studies, Law and Management, or an equivalent qualification.

• Strong attention to detail and a meticulous approach to work.

• High level of responsibility, initiative, and accountability.

• Good understanding of Company Law, Contract Law, and Data Privacy Law.

• Ability to conduct legal research effectively.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Excellent drafting and analytical skills.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
