Manager, Legal (Far East Orchard) - 6 months contract

Responsibilities

Provide legal advice and support to the listed entity & its multi-jurisdictional group including Australia, Japan and UK on a variety of matters, including:

1. Acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures, private funds and new business initiatives
   
2. Drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts, including real estate financing, term sheets, leases, hospitality and lodging operational agreements, development-related agreements
   
3. Instruct external legal counsel on matters including employment issues, data privacy and intellectual property
   
4. Regulatory compliance/ risk management
   
5. Undertake any other duties assigned by superiors diligently and professionally
   

Requirements

• Degree in Law (LLB) from Singapore or UK
  
• Minimum 5 years PQE in law firms handling corporate/ commercial work
  
• Familiarity with laws and regulations governing listed companies and/or M&A is advantageous
  
• Independent, pro-active, able to multi-task, commercially minded
  
• Excellent communication skills
