Privacy Lead – Leading Health Tech Firm

The Role

The Privacy Lead will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the organization's privacy framework. This role will work closely with Legal, Compliance, Security, Product, Engineering, and Business teams to ensure personal data is handled in accordance with applicable privacy laws and industry best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the company's privacy governance program.
• Ensure compliance with applicable privacy regulations, including Singapore PDPA and other relevant international data protection laws.
• Conduct Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) and Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs).
• Advise product, engineering, and business teams on privacy-by-design principles.
• Develop and maintain privacy policies, procedures, and standards.
• Manage data subject requests and privacy-related inquiries.
• Support vendor risk assessments and third-party data processing reviews.
• Monitor regulatory developments and provide recommendations on emerging privacy requirements.
• Lead privacy incident response activities and coordinate investigations where required

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in law, Information Security, Compliance, Business, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in privacy, compliance, legal, risk, or data protection roles.
• Strong knowledge of privacy regulations such as PDPA, GDPR, and related healthcare data protection requirements.
• Experience implementing privacy frameworks in technology or healthcare environments.
