Job Summary
This role will be based in Singapore and requires proven sales experience in financial, accounting, trust & fiduciary services, and tax structuring. You will increase sales of Amicorp products and services, focusing on tax compliance and solutions, by generating and retaining business with clients and intermediaries. The role includes developing and executing sales strategies and acting as a resident manager.
Responsibilities
Drive sales by leading all sales activities to consistently achieve or exceed individual sales targets through developing new business opportunities and closing prospects
Develop and implement sales strategies to identify opportunities and introduce new products and services to targeted markets and clients
Build, expand, and maintain strong relationships with clients and intermediaries such as law firms, CPAs, bankers, and family offices to generate leads and new business
Identify sales opportunities and align compliant products and services with tax advisors’ solutions and client needs
Prepare client proposals and close sales in compliance with company policies and guidelines to ensure business growth
Represent the company at seminars and industry networking events to promote brand visibility and generate leads
Lead and coordinate marketing activities while maintaining an active pipeline of prospects
Adhere to Amicorp sales discipline by consistently identifying opportunities, recording contacts, maintaining prospects, and closing sales leads regularly
Collaborate with local and international colleagues to meet and exceed sales targets
Ensure clients and entities comply with local regulations and laws, and services adhere to global statutory and regulatory guidelines
Exceed individual sales targets and contribute to achieving team sales goals
Management & Governance (Resident Manager Duties)
Oversee daily management, control, and administration of the Trust Company to ensure smooth operations
Ensure all business operations comply with applicable regulations and internal governance standards
Act as the primary contact with the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), managing timely regulatory communication, reporting, and responses
Supervise trust administration and fiduciary functions to ensure trust accounts, structures, and transactions comply with legal and regulatory obligations
Promote a strong governance culture by upholding ethical fiduciary practices and transparency in decision-making
Other Duties
Serve as director, trustee, nominee, manager, partner, secretary, authorized signatory, or other related roles in internal or client entities as required by management
Perform additional duties as assigned by management or Group Human Resources
Required competencies and certifications
Must be ordinarily resident in Singapore
Must meet MAS Fit and Proper Criteria as per MAS Guidelines
Appointment as Resident Manager must be approved by MAS prior to assuming duties
Preferred competencies and qualifications
Relevant Bachelor’s Degree with solid exposure to International Tax
12-15 years of proven sales experience in financial, legal, fiduciary, or trust services covering intermediaries and clients with demonstrated sales success
Excellent corporate and international tax knowledge, including BEPS, CRS, FATCA, GAAR, and ESR
Strong understanding of current legal issues, regulations, tax, and legal developments
Proven commercial drive with ability to penetrate markets and close sales
Initiative-driven, proactive, focused, and target-oriented
Strong leadership, interpersonal, and client-facing communication skills with excellent English fluency; additional languages preferred
Analytical and problem-solving skills with high organization, attention to detail, and effective decision-making and time management
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, smaller local team and larger matrix organization
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required
