Legal Counsel (Aviation)

My client, a leading aviation group, is looking for a highly motivated and experienced lawyer with at least 3 years of experience to join them.

In this role, you will report into the General Counsel in Singapore. As they continue to expand their operations, they are seeking a talented Legal Counsel to join their team and support their legal functions.

Job Duties:

• Provide strategic legal advice and manage regional projects, including; asset and financing matters, confidentiality agreements and other corporate agreements.

• Draft, negotiate and advise on the terms of important commercial contracts with regional clients, vendors and suppliers across a broad range of subject matters.

• Review and maintain appropriate contract templates and guidance materials.

• Drive effective contract risk management.

• Manage external legal counsels when required.

• Proactively identify and assess legal risks associated with regional operations,

• Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders across departments, including finance, tax, procurement, IT and human resources, to provide clear and actionable legal advice.

Qualifications:

• LLB (or equivalent), with a minimum of 3 years of relevant legal experience in private practice at a reputable law firm with a focus in aviation related matters or inhouse experience within the aviation industry

• Preferably qualified in a commonwealth jurisdiction

• Experience in the APAC regional role will be a strong advantage.
