Accounts Executive (Maritime Industry)

Job Description:

• Manage day-to-day Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) activities.
• Ensure vendor invoices are processed and payments are made accurately within the required timelines.
• Support the Senior Accounts Executive in routine accounting tasks, financial reporting, and administrative duties.
• Assist with monthly and annual financial closing processes.
• Provide support for statutory audits, tax compliance matters, and tax-related reviews.
• Participate in year-end audit preparations, statutory financial statement preparation, and financial performance analysis.
• Ensure financial records are closed accurately and promptly in compliance with applicable accounting standards and internal policies.
• Oversee the preparation and issuance of invoices and ensure billing activities are completed efficiently.
• Prepare and file GST returns in a timely and accurate manner.
• Handle accounting responsibilities related to operational activities, including expense monitoring and account reconciliations.
• Liaise with operations and procurement departments to verify costs and validate supplier invoices.
• Maintain and update cost reports and summaries for vessels, projects, and contractual engagements.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Accounting or any related fields.

• Minimum 3 years of accounts executive experience.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills
