Air Import Declaration & Customs Clearance Executive

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit Singapore Customs import declarations via TradeNet.
• Coordinate with cargo terminals (e.g. SATS and other air cargo terminals) for cargo release.
• Liaise with airlines, freight forwarders, overseas agents, customers, and transport providers.
• Arrange cargo collection and monitor import shipment status.
• Verify shipping documents, including Air Waybills (AWB), commercial invoices, packing lists, and permits.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore Customs regulations and company procedures.
• Coordinate delivery schedules with the transport team.
• Resolve shipment discrepancies and customs-related issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate shipment records and provide timely updates to customers.

Requirements

• Minimum GCE "O" Level, Diploma, or equivalent.
• Experience in air import operations or customs declaration is preferred.
• Familiarity with Singapore Customs TradeNet declaration procedures is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Cargo Community Network (CCN), SATS cargo handling procedures, or freight forwarding operations will be an added advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
