Assistant Supply Chain Manager (Manufacturing/ Machining/ Overseas Travel)

• Working hrs: Mon - Fri, flexi hours

• Location: Tai Seng

• Salary: Up to $5k + AWS + VB

Job Overview

• In charge of procurement, logistics, inventory management, supplier performance, and driving continuous improvement across the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage purchasing, logistics, inventory, and supply chain operations to ensure smooth daily operations.

• Work closely with internal teams to understand customer demand and maintain a stable supply of materials.

• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate procurement to prevent stock shortages.

• Oversee warehouse operations and material flow.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, including supplier sourcing, evaluation, negotiation, and performance reviews.

• Conduct supplier audits and monitor delivery and quality performance.

• Identify new sourcing opportunities, including overseas suppliers, and support cost-saving initiatives.

• Support purchasing activities for customer service and operations teams.

• Participate in monthly planning for production output and material requirements.

• Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance supply chain efficiency.

Requirements

• Diploma or higher qualification in Supply Chain, Logistics, Purchasing, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• At least 3–4 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain within a manufacturing or industrial environment.

• Good knowledge of sourcing, supplier management, inventory control, and logistics.

• Willing to travel overseas occasionally for supplier visits and audits.

• Able to support business needs during peak operational periods.

• Experience working in a manufacturing environment is an advantage.
