Job Description - AVP, Business Excellence and Sustainability - Corporate Development

  • Provide operational support to Defence & Public Security (DPS) Head Corporate Development for the oversight activities for all DPS Corporate Functions and driving DPS BAs Operation Excellence Workplan to achieve planned target for the year.
  • Lead and provide guidance to DPS BAs to ensure alignment of overall DPS approach and processes in practice by DPS BAs toward Group Operation Excellence and Sustainability policies, direction, and goals.
  • Organize and conduct DPS Sustainability Focus Team bi-monthly progress review with all DPS BAs to achieve KPI targets.
  • Provide leadership in driving the deployment of the Group Sustainability Initiatives across DPS BAs and sharing of best practices among BAs. Continue to support the Group Sustainability Yearly Key Focus Areas.
  • Lead DPS BAs to define, simplify, and deploy DPS BAs Environmental dashboard utilizing the Sustainability Reporting Platform (SRP) for GHG Emission Reduction, Water Usage Reduction and Waste Recycling tracker.
  • Drive DPS BAs Sustainability Records Tracker for data and initiatives to achieve timely and accurate Sustainability Reporting.
  • Lead DPS BAs in defining, setting, monitoring and timely reporting of DPS Operational Excellence Performing Indicator and Performance Incentive and drive improvement actions to ensure all Performance Incentives meeting set target.
  • Actively monitor and drive improvement actions to meet DPS/ BAs Performance Incentives (PI) performance
  • Lead and coaching of respective DPS/ BAs OESC Specialist Team's (OEST) to harmonize processes across BAs for continuous improvement:

- OEST(Quality)

- OEST(Environment)

- OEST (Continuous Improvement)

  • Support the organizing and conducting the half-yearly (or as required) progress review with the DPS Corporate Functions to prioritize workplan and initiatives in DPS.
  • Lead, influence, coordinate, and drive DPS BAs on assigned DPS Corporate Development Business Excellence and Cost Reduction initiatives to meet the set target.
