Job Description - Business Development & Sales Executive

The Role

As a BD & Sales Executive, you will be at the heart of our business growth. This is a dynamic role suited for a proactive "all-rounder" who thrives in a startup environment and enjoys the challenge of building processes from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development

  • Identify and reach out to potential clients in the construction, engineering, and electronics sectors within Singapore.
  • Manage the full sales cycle: from lead generation and technical presentations to negotiation and after-sales support.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and project loyalty.

Trade Operations & Logistics

  • Act as the primary liaison between suppliers and logistics providers.
  • Manage the end-to-end import/export process, including the preparation of shipping documents, customs declarations, and permit applications.
  • Coordinate delivery schedules to ensure materials arrive on-site according to project timelines.

Procurement & Supplier Management

  • Communicate daily with manufacturers to verify technical specifications, lead times, and quality control standards.
  • Monitor market trends and pricing for core commodities (M&E materials, power components, etc.) to maintain a competitive edge.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Language Proficiency: Native or professional fluency in both Mandarin Chinese and English (written and spoken) is a mandatory requirement. You must be able to negotiate technical specifications and contracts directly with suppliers as well as the client in South East Asia.
  • Education: Diploma or Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 1–3 years of experience in Sales, Trading, or Operations. Experience in the construction or M&E industry is a significant advantage.
  • Knowledge: Basic understanding of Incoterms, LC (Letters of Credit), and Singapore Customs regulations.
