Job Responsibilities
· Identify and develop new business opportunities within the logistics, transportation and supply chain sectors.
· Source and engage potential clients through calls, meetings, networking and business referrals.
· Understand clients’ logistics requirements and propose suitable service solutions.
· Prepare quotations, business proposals, presentations and tender submissions.
· Negotiate pricing, service terms and commercial agreements with clients.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
· Work closely with the Operations team to ensure that clients’ requirements can be fulfilled effectively.
· Monitor service performance and follow up on customer feedback or operational issues.
· Conduct market research and monitor competitors, industry developments and customer needs.
· Perform ad-hoc duties assigned by management.
Job Requirements
· Diploma or Degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Marketing or a related field.
· Relevant experience in business development, sales, logistics or transportation is preferred.
· Good communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
· Self-motivated, proactive and results-oriented.
· Able to build and maintain strong client relationships.
· Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
· Able to work independently and collaborate with Operations and internal departments.
