Business Development Executive

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Business Development Executive to identify and secure new business opportunities within the logistics and supply chain industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new leads, building strong customer relationships, and driving revenue growth by promoting the company's logistics solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Hunt for and acquire new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, and market research.
• Identify potential customers and develop a strong sales pipeline.
• Arrange and conduct sales meetings to understand customers' logistics requirements.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.
• Work closely with Solutions and Project Implementation team to ensure smooth implementation of new accounts.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer developments to identify growth opportunities.
• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets and KPIs.
• Support preparation of sales leads, tenders,and RFQs
• Support operations team in handling customers’ enquiries and requests
• Monitor service performance and escalate issues when necessary
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth service delivery
• Perform any ad hoc duties / projects as assigned by the management

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, Marketing, or a related discipline.
• At least 2 years of business development or sales experience, preferably in freight forwarding, contract logistics, warehousing, or supply chain solutions.
• Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
