Job Summary

Responsible for driving efficient, cost-effective procurement by sourcing, negotiating, and ensuring timely delivery of materials while managing supplier performance and supporting continuous improvement.

Education Requirements: Degree in Supply Chain or related discipline.
Experience Level Requirements: Minimum 5 years of procurement and vendor management experience within aerospace industry.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end sourcing and procurement activities to support workshop operations and organizational objectives, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Source, evaluate, negotiate, and procure spare parts, consumables, materials, and services at competitive pricing while maintaining required quality standards.
• Review and analyze supplier quotations, assess pricing competitiveness, and recommend optimal purchasing decisions.
• Coordinate closely with suppliers, logistics, and planning teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve supply issues promptly.
• Maintain and update databases for materials, vendors, pricing, and expenditures to support accurate planning and reporting.
• Drive cost-reduction initiatives, expand and qualify the vendor base, and mitigate risks associated with single sourcing.
• Monitor and evaluate supplier performance in areas such as delivery reliability and product quality, implementing improvement actions as needed.
• Participate actively in material review processes, problem-solving sessions, and continuous improvement programs to enhance procurement and material planning efficiency.
• Prepare and support management with ad hoc, weekly, and monthly procurement reports and assigned tasks.
• Uphold company policies, procedures, and safety standards while performing other duties as required.

Skills Required:

• Strong decision-making skills supported by data and analytical thinking
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experienced with ERP systems
