Customer Service Executive (Airfreight)

Our esteemed client in the Transportation/ Logistics industry is seeking a Customer Service Executive (Airfreight) to join their dynamic team:

• Employment Type: Permanent
• Position: Customer Service Executive (Airfreight)
• Location: Changi Cargo Complex
• Working Hours: 5.5 days (Mon to Fri, 9am to 6pm; Sat,9am to 1pm) – Alternate Sat after probation
• Salary Package: Up to $4,600 + Bonus

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage quotations for RFQs, ad-hoc, and project shipments with competitive pricing.
• Handle key customer accounts and serve as main contact for airfreight enquiries.
• Liaise with airlines, co-loaders, and vendors to secure rates and cargo space.
• Follow up on quotations and convert opportunities into bookings.
• Coordinate with operations, warehouse, and finance teams for smooth shipment execution.
• Monitor shipments and resolve delays or service issues promptly.
• Provide market updates on rates, space, and peak season trends.
• Support sales team on account growth and new business opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records in internal systems.
• Guide and mentor junior staff as and when needed.

Job Requirements:

• At least 4 years of experience in airfreight or freight forwarding.
• Strong knowledge of airfreight operations, pricing, and carrier coordination.
• Experience handling quotations and customer accounts independently.
• Experience handling key accounts or freehand customers would be preferred.
• Familiar with customs permits is an advantage.
• Proficient in MS Office and logistics systems.
