Demand and Supply Planner

Job Purpose:

We are seeking a highly organized and analytical individual to join our team as a Demand and Supply Planner. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing inventory levels, forecasting demand, and ensuring the efficient flow of products through the supply chain.

This candidate will actively lead in Sales and Operations Review (S&OP) processes to align cross-functional teams and drive overall business success.

Principal Accountabilities

Demand Planning:

• Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and business strategies.

• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and production teams to gather relevant information for demand planning.

• Conduct regular analysis of forecast accuracy and adjust strategies as needed.

Supply Planning:

• Coordinate with US supply site to ensure availability of supplies to support demand.

• Monitor inventory levels and production schedules to meet customer demand while minimizing excess inventory.

• Identify potential supply chain risks and develop strategies for risk mitigation.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Foster effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, customer service and logistics.

• Provide regular updates on demand and supply trends, potential issues, and recommendations for improvement.

Data Analysis:

• Utilize statistical modeling and analysis tools to enhance forecasting accuracy.

• Analyze historical sales data and market trends to identify patterns and potential opportunities.

Continuous Improvement:

• Identify areas for process improvement within the demand and supply planning functions.

Skills, Know How and experience

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in supply and demand planning with exposure to leading S&OP cycles

• Experienced in forecasting and measurement of forecast accuracy

• Strong analytical skills

• Previous experience in a supply chain role supporting multiple stakeholders

• Basic knowledge of SAP and JDA systems

• Advance knowledge in Excel and Microsoft office

• Strong communication skills, both verbally and written
