Inventory Planner (FMCG / Supply Chain Planning)

• Position      : Inventory Planner (FMCG / Supply Chain Planning)
• Location      : West – Gul Link (Nearest MRT:  Gul Circle)
• Working hours    : Monday to Friday | 8.30am to 5.30pm
• Salary (commensurate with experience)     : Up to $6,000 + Variable Bonus + Annual Leaves + Medical Benefits
• Duration      : Permanent
• Industry      : Industrial Supplies & Wholesale Trade

Main Responsibilities:

• Plan and manage inventory levels to support customer demand and business needs
• Monitor stock movement, demand trends, replenishment needs, and delivery schedules
• Maintain planning parameters such as safety stock, reorder points, lead times, and forecasts
• Analyse slow-moving, ageing, excess stock, and recommend corrective actions
• Prepare inventory reports, KPI tracking, forecast analysis, and stock performance reviews
• Work closely with suppliers, sales, customer service, warehouse, operations, and finance teams
• Identify potential stock shortages, supply chain risks, and operational bottlenecks
• Support ERP/system data accuracy and inventory process improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, documentation, and database upkeep

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Inventory Management, or related field
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in supply chain planning, inventory control, materials planning, or related functions
• Experience in FMCG / fast-moving consumables / retail-driven demand environment is preferred
• Proficient in Excel and familiar with ERP or inventory planning systems
• Professional credentials like the APICS CPIM (Certified in Planning and Inventory Management) or certifications from the CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) will be a strong bonus
