Key Account Manager (Freight Forwarding / Logistics) - Up to $6500

• Position : Key Account Manager (Freight Forwarding / Logistics)
• Location : Cecil Street- Near Raffles Place MRT
• Working hours : Monday - Friday, 9.00am - 6.00pm
•  Salary(commensurate on experience) : Up to $6500 + Performance Bonus
• Duration : Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of IT logistics accounts, covering customer relationships, rates, scope, escalations and account growth.
• Take over assigned accounts from senior team members through a structured handover and act as the customer’s main commercial contact.
• Onboard newly won accounts from the business development team by assigning ownership, introducing the support team and setting up account maintenance plans.
• Grow accounts through lane expansion, new geographies and value-added services such as IOR/EOR and ITAD.
• Quote with commercial discipline, manage scope changes and monitor margins, billing and ageing receivables.
• Work closely with sales operations and operations teams on quotations, execution and customer support.
• Maintain visibility on revenue, pipeline conversion and expected workload through regular forecasting and reporting.

Requirements

• At least 4 to 5 years of account management experience in freight forwarding, logistics or supply chain.
• Exposure to IT logistics, IOR/EOR or value-added logistics services will be an advantage.
• Strong customer-facing communication skills, with confidence in handling commercial discussions and escalations.
• Commercially minded, with good understanding of rates, margins, contracts and negotiation.
• Organized and able to manage a portfolio of accounts, maintain CRM updates and provide reliable forecasts.
• Interest in developing specialist knowledge in IOR/EOR and IT logistics will be an advantage.
• Interest in progressing towards team leadership over time will be an advantage.
