Key Account Manager (Tech Logistics)

Our esteemed client in the Transportation/ Logistics industry is seeking a Key Account Manager to join their dynamic team:

• Employment Type: Permanent
• Position: Key Account Manager (Tech Logistics)
• Location: CBD Area
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm
• Salary Package: Up to $6,300 + Bonus

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage the end-to-end commercial health of a dedicated portfolio of IT vertical accounts, covering client relationships, rate negotiations, contract scope, and service escalations.
• Manage newly won accounts from the business development team and onboard them properly. Quickly assigning ownership, introducing the team, and putting a maintenance plan in place.
• Grow accounts by expanding lanes, entering new geographies, and adding value‑added services. Identify and pursue opportunities within portfolio.
• Protect margins and cash flow. Quote with discipline, manage scope creep, monitor billing and aging receivables on the accounts. Flag any issue that could hurt profitability or collection.
• Work closely with the Sales Operations Executive and operations teams on quotations and execution.
• Maintain accurate revenue projections, monitor pipeline conversions, and track upcoming workloads for the assigned portfolio.

Job Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in account management within freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain. Exposure to IT logistics, trade compliance, or value‑added services is a strong plus.
• Comfortable navigating tough commercial conversations and escalations independently.
• Eager to build deep, technical expertise in niche logistics sectors and motivated to step into a people-management role over time.
