Logistic Assistant

Role Overview:

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Assistant / Storekeeper to support daily warehouse and logistics operations involving technical equipment, marine gear, and spare parts. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting deployment activities, and ensuring smooth warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Management

• Receive, inspect, and store incoming parts, tools, and equipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using the warehouse management system.
• Conduct routine stock checks, cycle counts, and assist with inventory audits.
• Ensure proper labelling, organization, and tracking of inventory items.

Logistics Support

• Prepare, pack, and stage equipment for deployment to vessels and field operations.
• Coordinate with logistics and operations teams to ensure timely dispatch and delivery.
• Assist with safe loading and unloading of shipments and deliveries.
• Support documentation and tracking of outgoing and incoming goods.

Equipment Handling

• Ensure proper storage and handling of sensitive robotics components, technical equipment, and marine gear.
• Follow established handling procedures for heavy machinery and specialized tools.
• Support engineers and operational teams by issuing required parts and equipment promptly.

Safety &Compliance

• Adhere to workplace safety procedures and environmental regulations.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and operational readiness.
• Report inventory discrepancies, damaged items, or safety hazards promptly.
• Ensure safe use and handling of warehouse equipment and tools.

Requirements

• Minimum vocational certificate or equivalent qualification (Logistics, Warehouse Operations, or related fields preferred).
• 1–3 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or inventory management.
