Logistics Executive (Manufacturing/ Full Time)

Job Overview

The Logistics Executive will oversee daily import/export operations, optimize shipping schedules, and coordinate with internal teams and service providers to ensure smooth and cost-efficient logistics processes.

Job Description

• Manage daily import and export logistics operations, including shipment coordination, delivery arrangements, and documentation.

• Monitor shipment schedules and support demand forecasting to ensure on-time delivery.

• Review and improve logistics processes to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.

• Prepare logistics cost reports, warehouse and freight cost forecasts, and KPI performance reports.

• Verify logistics service provider invoices and process payment approvals.

• Process goods receipt (GRN) for indirect materials and spare parts used in manufacturing.

• Coordinate with internal departments, suppliers, freight forwarders, and warehouse service providers to ensure smooth logistics operations.

Experience & Qualification

• Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

• 1-2 years’ experience in logistics, warehouse, or import/export operations is advantageous for this role.

• Candidates without prior experience will also be considered.

Skills Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Power Query, basic data analysis).

• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics 365) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is an advantage.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Able to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Able to speak and write English and Chinese, as this role requires communicating with suppliers and vendors from China.
