• Parcel Sorting: Oversee the intake and sorting of linehaul inbound parcels for daily dispatch.
• Space Optimization: Manage warehouse layouts, staging areas, and inventory tracking to ensure swift processing.
• Loading Execution: Ensure packages are organized and loaded onto delivery vehicles logically based on delivery routes.‘
  
  🚚 Fleet & Driver Supervision
• Route Assignments: Assign delivery zones and delegate daily workloads to sorting staff and drivers based on headcount and volume.

Performance Tracking: Monitor driver KPIs, on-time delivery rates, and mileage to ensure SLAs (Service Level Agreements) are met.

Driver Training: Coordinate the training of new drivers, conduct on-road riding evaluations, and provide safety refresher courses.

🤝 Customer Service & Compliance

• Customer Resolution: Handle escalated delivery issues, missing parcels, or damaged goods.
• Driver Behavior: Promote a high standard of professional driving behavior, customer service, and presentation.
• Safety & Security: Ensure compliance with all workplace safety policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs) at the depot.
  
  📊 Performance Monitoring
• KPI Reporting: Track daily performance dashboards and report on-time-in-full (OTIF) metrics.

Problem Solving: Manage contingencies—such as manpower shortages, extreme weather, or vehicle breakdowns—by rearranging tasks to minimize productivity impacts.
