Job Summary

Join as a Management Trainee in the Air & Ocean Freight Operations team to gain hands-on experience in freight forwarding, develop skills in shipment coordination and customer service, and prepare for a leadership role in logistics operations.

Responsibilities

• Gain practical experience managing end-to-end air and sea freight operations to support shipment flow
• Coordinate import, export, and drop shipments to ensure accurate processing and timely delivery
• Communicate effectively with customers, overseas agents, carriers, NVOCCs, and co-loaders to facilitate smooth operations
• Arrange shipment bookings, customs clearance, and delivery schedules to meet customer requirements
• Monitor shipment status and provide timely updates to customers to maintain transparency
• Liaise with transportation and local handling service providers to ensure efficient shipment movement
• Process import/export permits and customs documentation to comply with regulatory requirements
• Manage shipments using EDI systems to streamline operational workflows
• Prepare shipment documentation, operational reports, and invoices accurately for internal and external use
• Support customers with ad hoc requests such as goods inspection to enhance service quality
• Assist in problem resolution, service recovery, and insurance claims handling to maintain customer satisfaction
• Supervise and support the Customer Service Operations team to ensure effective service delivery

Qualifications

• Diploma / O level
• Experience working in a Freight Forwarder environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
