Material Planner

Responsibilities

·       Create Job Orders for material planning (MRP) to support customer sales order.

·       Release Purchase Requisition in the Oracle System per Planned Orders.

·       Determine availabilities requirement and adjust/re-adjust in accordance to Sales Work Order changes – pull-in, push-out and cancellation.

·       Review and release Work Orders with sufficient manufacturing lead time as per capacity(MPS) and stating the necessary requirements needed - TCN / ECN implementation. 

·       Generate Clear To Build (CTB) reports/shortages for material status, Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders informing them of any potential materials shortages that could affect the shipment sales schedule.

·       Commit delivery based on material full kit date and production commitment.

·       Support Customer Focus Team on delivery commitment and supply matters.

·       Analyse and review inventory levels to identify and address potential bottle necks, shortages, and excess inventory.  

·      Monitor and report key performance indicators

Requirements

•       Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in: Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent discipline

•       Certification in Supply Chain, Planning, or Inventory Management (e.g., APICS CPIM, CSCP) is an added advantage.
