OPERATIONS COORDINATOR (MARINE LUBRICANTS)

You will report directly to the Operations Manager and is responsible for coordinating inbound / outbound activities, inclusive of delivery personnel and dispatching of sales orders in the most cost-effective and efficient manner while ensuring customer service objectives are met.     

Working Hours: Weekdays (Mon-Fri): 0730– 1630hrs, Sat: 0730 – 1130hrs

Scheduled working hours subject to changes based on the continuous development of the department duties.

Compensation: Basic Pay (S$3.5K – S$4K)

Upon confirmation, work alt Sat from 4th month with transport allowance of $50 to$100

Work Location:   Jurong, Tuas

Primary Job Functions:

1. Process sales orders on a daily basis.
2. Plan and monitor daily delivery schedules by liaising with clients/suppliers/agents for timely inbound stock and outbound deliveries & vessel loading/supply schedule.
3. Dispatch delivery orders to the operations crew.
4. Attend to customers’ queries on outstanding delivery issues.
5. Support warehouse and inventory management activities.
6. Perform other related duties as required by the operations and warehouse departments.

Requirements:

Educational - Minimum GCE ‘O’ Levels. Preferably Higher NITEC or Diploma in Logistics Management.

Experience -

Preferably at least 2 years working experience in Logistics / Warehouse environment.

Knowledge of Singapore’s Geographic locations will be an advantage.

Skills & Abilities:

1. Forklift license would be an advantage.
2. Good interpersonal, written and communication skills.
3. Dynamic, proactive, takes initiative and able to work independently as well as a team-player.
4. Proficient in Windows-based applications (MS: Words, Excel & Power-point) & emails& SAP.
5. Be organized, detailed & able to perform in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
6. Be willing to work outside of work hours if required.
