Job Description - Operations Executive

Organise and coordinate vessel schedule requirements and intended activities.
Coordinate operations activities, liaise with transporter on loading delivery and co-ordinate with customers to ensure smooth delivery of shipments.
To ensure the smooth facilitation and processing of customer’s shipments within required Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and timeframes without supervision
To provide full customer service support to allocated customers.
Handle region import & export shipment, working closely with local network partner for actual arrival and update in-house system
Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication.
Prepare shipping documentation accurately and timely
Complete all required file administration including documentation, billing, vendor invoices
Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution.
Perform ad-hoc assignments as and when required

Job requirements
Min 2 years of Experience in Freight Forwarding/Logistics/ISO tank industry is an advantage
Strong interpersonal skills; able to build relationship with people from different cultures
Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines through good time management and allocation of priorities and able to work in fast paced environment
A team player with initiative, willingness to learn and open to new challenges and responsibilities
Good knowledge of Incoterms
Proficient in MS office applications and savvy with new systems
Min. Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma
