Operations Executive (Transport)

To support the Transport Department in ensuring efficient logistics operations, including vessel monitoring, driver deployment, document processing, and customer service, while maintaining compliance with safety and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational & Safety Compliance:

1. Safety & Health:

·      Adhere to and promote workplace safety ,following OSH guidelines and safe work methods.

·      Report and assist in incident investigations when required.

1. Vessel & Logistics Coordination:

·      Monitor vessel movements via Portnet & JP online system and coordinate with shipping agents.

·      Liaise with customers and plant operators on order status and loading schedules.

1. Driver & Fleet Management:

·      Plan, assign, and monitor driver deployments to meet delivery KPIs.

·      Track driver progress using GPS tracking systems and ensure adherence to routes.

·      Manage a fleet of Prime Movers and drivers, ensuring compliance with customer requirements.

1. Documentation & Customer Service:

·      Prepare and verify shipping documents via Portnet & Jurong Port online systems.

·      Process delivery receipts/proof of delivery(POD) within required lead times.

·      Address customer inquiries and feedback promptly.

1. Administrative & Emergency Duties:

·      Verify and reconcile driver trip records post-job completion.

·      Handle urgent delivery requests and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.

·      Provide 24/7 on-call support (rotational basis)for operational emergencies.

Key requirements:

• Education: GCE 'A' Level / Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years in 3PL (Third-Party Logistics), preferably in Traffic Planning, Workforce Allocation, or Transport Operations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and handle pressure.
• Proactive problem-solver with a keen eye for process improvements.
• Team player with a collaborative approach.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Willingness to take on 24/7 stand by duties for operational support.
