Planning Officer / Executive (Air Freight Forwarding)

Job Description

- Monitor and plan space for loading shipment to maximize efficiency.

- Follow up on status of freight and ensure that all relevant parties are updated.

- Work closely with airlines on enquiries on rate, tracking and other matters.

- Creating, maintaining and reviewing the selling rate and buying from customer/ carriers

- Ensuring that all shipments are complete and uplift on time with agreed rate with customer and airline.

- Producing progress reports and profit/loss to team and stakeholders.

- Handling RFQ, tender

- Coordinate with sales on sales enquiries and assist them to give them the best solutions.

- Able to know all the buying/ selling rates from customers and airlines.

- Able to plan all bump shipment for consolidation.

- Perform bookings with various careers

- Coordinate with customer service/warehouse team to ensure timely schedule shipment for uplift.

Requirements
- Quick critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

- Keep organization and time management skills.

- Good collaboraton and teamwork abilities.

- 2 years’ experience within the same industries / field

• Working Location: 40 Alps Avenue Singapore 498781
• Working hours: Rotating Shift (Morning Shift - Monday to Friday: 0900 hrs – 1730 hrs, Alternate Saturday: 0900 hrs – 1300 hrs) & (Night Shift – Monday to Friday: 1700 hrs – 0130 hrs, Alternate Saturday/Sunday: 1700 hrs – 2100 hrs)
