Prime Mover Driver

About the role

Chelsea Logistics Pte. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Prime Mover Driver to join our team in Jurong West. This is a full-time position that will involve operating large commercial vehicles to transport goods throughout the region. As a valued member of our logistics operations, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of our clients' shipments.

What you'll be doing

1. Operate prime movers and other commercial vehicles in a safe and responsible manner

2. Conduct pre-trip inspections and report any vehicle issues or maintenance needs

3. Load and unload cargo as necessary, ensuring secure and damage-free transport

4. Plan efficient routes and navigate to delivery destinations on schedule

5. Maintain accurate logs and documentation for all trips

6. Adhere to all relevant traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies

7. Provide excellent customer service to clients throughout the delivery process

What we're looking for

1. Valid Class 4/5 driving licence with at least 1 year of prime mover driving experience

2. Strong knowledge of local road networks and traffic regulations

3. Ability to perform physical tasks such as loading and unloading cargo

4. Excellent time management and problem-solving skills

5. Ensure safe transportation of containers to/from PSA

6. Familiar with PSA operations
