Procurement Manager

Oversee and optimize the end-to-end operations of the Supply Chain Management (SCM) Procurement and Material Control & Planning departments.

Job Responsibilities:

·        Provide overall leadership, direction and guidance to plant purchasing staff.

·        Ensure procurement goods and services on behalf of the Company in the most effective manner possible.

·        Being instrumental in formulating strategy & matrix to accomplish department KPI within the context of corporate policies.

·        Ensure goals and objective set for buyers are being accomplished within guidelines.

·        Manage suppliers to negotiate for best prices and T & C.

·        Ensure all commitments made on behalf of the company are accompanied by valid approval & compliance is observed in the professional manner.

·        Identify opportunity to drive cost and provide support & coordinate with PWB GSM to drive cost align with corporate strategy.

·        Ensure negotiated prices for BOM & indirect materials are uploaded quarterly and reflected correctly in Finance system.

·        Ensure no AP discrepancy shall be aged in excess of 15 days.

·        To obtain optimum cost for materials & shipping services

·        Effectively coordinate capital equipment activities with plant or corporate on terms negotiation and execution in accordance with company policy

·        Lead a team of planners to ensure timely execution of demand orders and on time delivery of materials

·        Drive inventory optimization and minimize material obsolescence.

·        Forecast and consignment order planning

Manage plant NPI & QTA material ordering, raw materials excess and material order exception handling ( Pull in / Push out).

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience in Procurement or Supply Chain.
• Strong expertise in end-to-end SCM, Material Planning and Strategic Sourcing.
• Proficient in contract negotiation, vendor management,and financial cost-control.
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills to interface effectively with plant executives and corporate teams
