Procurement Manager (Electronics MNC East)

We are seeking a result-driven and technically adept Procurement Manager to lead the purchasing operations. The incumbent will oversee the end to end purchasing activities, ensuring high-quality goods and services are acquired cost-effectively and on time.

Job Responsibilities

• Analyse market trends and manage supplier relationships to optimize the supply chain
• Identify reliable suppliers, evaluate vendor proposals, and negotiate profitable pricing with favourable contract terms
• Monitor vendor performance by conducting regular audits, and resolve any supply chain disruptions or quality issues
• Develop strategies to reduce procurement costs without sacrificing quality while identifying opportunities for process improvement
• Collaborate with various departments to align purchasing strategies to the company objectives
• Prepare annual budgets and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to report operational health to the management
• Ensure all purchasing activities comply with company policies, legal regulations and industry standards

Job Requirements

• Degree in Supply Chain Management / Business Administration
• At least 8 to 10 years of progressive experience in procurement or supply chain roles
• Expertise in vendor negotiation, contract management, market analysis and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software
• Decisive leadership and strong analytical problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and good interpersonal skills
• Meticulous, organized and resourceful team player
• Highly motivated individual who works independently with minimal supervision
