PRODUCTION PROCESS PLANNER

Job Summary

You will lead production planning and coordination to ensure timely manufacturing and shipment delivery, optimizing resources and collaborating across departments to meet customer requirements and key performance metrics.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate all manufacturing activities to meet production schedules and customer delivery requirements
• Develop daily material and production plans based on customer orders to ensure smooth workflow
• Release work orders and monitor production order progress to achieve on-time shipment delivery
• Optimize loading capacity and track production movements to maximize operational efficiency
• Collaborate closely with manufacturing, purchasing, and warehouse/logistics teams to ensure timely receipt of parts supporting shipment plans
• Monitor material shortages and expedite procurement to maintain material availability for production plans
• Assist in maintaining, developing, and improving existing production and planning processes for continuous improvement
• Maintain and ensure achievement of key performance metrics related to production planning and delivery

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma in the Engineering discipline
• Minimum 3 years of experience in production planning
• Knowledge of supply chain and material flow concepts
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP is highly desirable
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure with a sense of urgency
• Demonstrated teamwork and self-driven work ethic

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience using ERP systems such as SAP (not mandatory but highly desirable)
