Job Description - Senior Airfreight Customer Service Executive #84195

Job Description

  • Industry/ Organization Type: Freight Forwarding/ Warehousing
  • Position Title: Senior Airfreight Customer Service Executive
  • Working Location: Changi Cargo Complex
  • Working Hours: Mon to Fri (9am – 6pm), Alternate Sat (9am – 1pm)
  • Salary Package: Basic Salary + Performance Bonus
  • Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for key clients on airfreight enquiries and requirements.
  • Manage end-to-end quotation processes (RFQs, ad-hoc, and project shipments) with a competitive pricing approach.
  • Engage with airlines, co-loaders, and vendors to secure optimal rates and cargo space.
  • Follow up on quotations and support conversion into confirmed shipments.
  • Provide market updates, including pricing trends, capacity, and peak season insights to clients and internal teams.
  • Coordinate closely with operations, warehouse, and finance teams to ensure smooth shipment execution.
  • Collaborate with the Sales/ SOE team on account management and business development activities.
  • Track shipment progress and proactively handle any issues or exceptions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in systems (e.g., Shipthis).
  • Guide and support junior team members when necessary.

  • At least 5 years of experience in airfreight or freight forwarding sector.
  • Strong understanding of airfreight operations, pricing strategies, and airline coordination.
  • Proven track record in quotation management and customer service.
  • Familiarity with Singapore Customs procedures (e.g., XO, OD permits) is an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently and manage key client accounts effectively.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and logistics management systems.
