Senior executive HSSEQ

Responsibilities

Responsible for day-to-day procurement related function ensuring that it is carried out within allocated budget. Responsible for updating of the Inventory Management System (IMS) as a running system always updated for supply and consumption of relevant items along with the updating of requisitions. Coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of supplies to vessels.

To process invoices in the system and if necessary, to follow up with accounts to ensure payment in timely manner in accordance with procedures. To assist the technical superintendents with review, updating and filing of the weekly and monthly reports for the assigned vessels.

Assist and participate in any other technical task as required in the office, mainly filing and upkeep of technical reports. Assistance with Service arrangements for Technical Managers as needed. Assistance in checking that all Makers maintenance requirements are updated and periodically reviewed in the Planned maintenance system (PMS).

Assistance to HSSEQ Head on Safety and Quality related documentation, follow up with vessels and filing of same in designated folders. Maintaining database of vessel certificates, reports and records and day to day follow up with vessels on safety and quality related communication.

Assist in upkeep of documentation and in special cases ensure establishment of comprehensive files for future records. Shadowing various department personnel to understand their job scopes and day-to-day activities. Review / Analyze and summarize the observations.

Requirements

Minimum of 1 - 2 years of experience in a similar role.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications especially Microsoft Excel and general computer knowledge.

Good oral and written communication skills.

Organized, structured and attentive to details.

Result oriented individual. Good interpersonal skills.
