An opportunity is now available for a career-minded individual to join us in MSC South East Asia (Singapore) Pte Ltd, as Senior Executive, Transhipment Export.

As Senior Executive, Transhipment Export you will join a dynamic team to handle all Transhipment containers (laden+ empty) in Singapore. You will also have the opportunity to work and communicate across geographical and cultural borders that will enable you to build a strong professional network.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Transhipment, the role supports overall export operations by managing ITPS uploads and record finalization, assisting with day-to-day team activities including conflict resolution, supporting cargo flow tasks, guiding junior team members on procedures and systems, and handling quotation and approval of COD shipments.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Preparation of TS HUB figures for Regional Office, including full details of ex-carriers, ports of loadings, total TEUs / weight for stowage-planning purpose;
• Arrange to ‘roll out' excessive cargoes in close liaison with Regional Office as well as Load ports in the event of vessel full situation in terms of space or weight;
• Ensure timely receipt of VIP List for containers to be protected as well as ‘Rollover List' or ‘Shut-out List';
• Application for loading of Dangerous Goods / IMO cargoes with MSC DG Medlog Department in Antwerp (via on-line system);
• Preparation of DG List, Reefer and Exceptional List for Master of vessels;
• Ensure completeness of VGM and DTX in ITPS system for Export Team;
• Send out ‘Rollover Advise' to all Port of Origins, Load and Discharging Ports in Events of rollover situation;
• Follow-up on in-coming transhipment activities for non-MSC vessels.

Who We Are Looking For

• Diploma of any discipline
• General operational experience in all aspects of Container Shipping and Port Operations
• Minimum 4 to 5 years of experience in liner or transhipment operations
• People management experience in managing a small team
• Good general knowledge of container shipping
• Experienced in handling operations/transhipment
• Good knowledge of port operations
• Portnet
• Microsoft Excel
• Microsoft Outlook
• People Management skills to lead a small team
• Sound analytical skill
• Ability to work under pressure
• Good communications skill
