Shipping Executive

Job Summary

Coordinate and manage export sea freight shipments and vessel husbandry services to ensure timely processing and clear communication with stakeholders. Support operational goals through detailed documentation, effective teamwork, and adaptability in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate booking, shipment scheduling, and documentation for export sea freight shipments to ensure timely and accurate processing
• Liaise with owners and masters of vessels calling Singapore to arrange husbandry services efficiently
• Manage email correspondence with local and overseas customers, principals, and agents to resolve operational issues promptly and maintain clear communication
• Organize and verify shipment documentation and operational tasks with strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Collaborate effectively within a team and independently manage assigned responsibilities to achieve operational goals
• Utilize Microsoft Office applications proficiently to prepare reports, correspondence, and maintain accurate shipment records
• Adapt to fast-paced and dynamic work environments to meet changing operational demands and deadlines

Required competencies and certifications

• Minimum Diploma Holder or equivalent

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience working in Shipping Companies is required
