Shipping Executive (Import/Export)

• Position: Logistics Executive

• Location: Cecil Street (Telok Ayer MRT Station: 2–3 mins walk away)

• Working Hours: Monday to Friday (9am - 6pm)

• Salary (commensurate with experience): Up to $4,500 + Variable Bonus (approximately 3 months) + Medical & Dental Benefits

• Duration: Permanent

• Industry: Pharmaceutical

Main Responsibilities:

• Coordinate orders from PO to delivery

• Liaise with suppliers, forwarders, and customers to ensure smooth shipments

• Arrange sea, air, and land shipments with freight forwarders or shipping lines

• Prepare and check shipping and trade documents such as invoices, packing lists, permits, B/L, COO, insurance, and L/C documents

• Track shipment status and update internal teams or customers

• Ensure documents are accurate and comply with contract, bank, and customs requirements

• Maintain proper filing and records of shipping documents

• Assist with supplier invoices, payment documents, and shipment expense reconciliation

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Trade or related field

• 2–4 years’ experience in a trading company, logistics, or export/import/Transshipment operations

• Strong knowledge of Incoterms, international shipping, and banking terms (L/C, DA/DP)

• Familiar with freight booking, customs clearance process, and coordinating with shipping agents

• Basic accounting knowledge or experience will be an advantage
