Shipping Operator

Faststream Recruitment has partnered with a global shipbroking company looking for a Shipping Operator as part of its expansion. 

Responsibilities:

• Tracking/sending port arrival notices (ETA Notices) or Delivery Notices
• Verification and follow-up of travel instructions at loading and unloading
• Follow-up of the trip and management of all the obligations in the contract/CP and problems that may arise during the trip
• Management of potential disputes and the closing of contracts with counterparties (Laytimes, Claims, etc.)
• Invoicing/brokerage commission

Key Requirements:

• Prior industry experience is a plus
• Self-motivated, independent, efficient, meticulous and client oriented
• Team player
• Able to manage stress
