Specialist/Executive – Procurement, Capacity Planning & Pricing

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily air logistics gateway operations for inbound and outbound freight.
• Optimize cargo flows using fixed capacity (e.g. BSA, allotments).
• Plan and monitor uplift to maximize capacity utilization and meet customer SLAs.
• Procure additional (spot) capacity from airlines when required.
• Coordinate with operations and transport teams to ensure smooth cargo movement.
• Ensure compliance with carrier, aviation security, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Support carrier procurement activities (BSA, consolidation, charters, ad hoc space).
• Plan and manage airfreight consolidation to improve cost efficiency.
• Provide pricing support for quotations, RFQs, and tenders while ensuring competitiveness and profitability.
• Collaborate cross-functionally and drive continuous improvement, process optimization, and standardization initiatives.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
• 3–7 years of relevant experience in airfreight forwarding, gateway operations, carrier procurement, or capacity/pricing roles.
• Strong understanding of airfreight operations, cost structures, and capacity management.
• Solid analytical, commercial, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and coordination skills, with ability to work under pressure; proficient in MS Excel and freight systems.
