Supply Chain Planner

Job Responsibilities:

•     Plan and prepare daily schedules for product manufacture

•     Prepare production plans to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipping dates according to customer orders

•     Ensure production department adopts best practices and at maximum efficiency at all times

•     Follow-up with related departments to expedite the flow of production and documents to meet customer expectations

•     Prepare status reports for production progress and work in process

•     Receive and review sales orders against current requirements and work in process using the material requirement planning report

•     Communicate with production department on a daily basis to resolve issues regarding manufacturing efficiencies

•     Work with production supervisors and purchasing department on material status and production planning issues

•     Understand and assist to implement an internal system in the facility that ties to the front office ERP system

Job Requirements:

•     Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field

•     Minimum 2–5 years of experience in production planning, supply chain planning, manufacturing, or related environment

•     Strong knowledge of production scheduling, material planning, inventory control, and manufacturing processes

•     Experience using ERP and MRP systems for production and material planning

•     Good understanding of manufacturing workflows, lead times, and production capacity planning

•     Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills

•     Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

•     Excellent communication and coordination skills to work effectively with production, purchasing, sales, and warehouse teams

•     Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

•     Detail-oriented with strong follow-up and reporting capabilities

•     Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams

•     Knowledge of continuous improvement practices and manufacturing efficiency concepts is an advantage

•     Familiarity with ISO standards, lean manufacturing, or supply chain best practices will be an added advantage
