Job Description

• Position Title: Traffic Controller
• Working Location: Tuas (Walk distance from MRT)
• Working Hours: Monday – Friday (8.30am – 5.30pm), once Saturday per month (8.30am – 12.30pm)
• Salary Package: Basic Salary + Variable Bonus
• Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Organize and oversee daily transport operations, including import, export, collection, and container return activities.
• Schedule and allocate drivers based on operational requirements while monitoring attendance and workforce availability.
• Maintain effective communication with drivers, customers, and internal teams to ensure deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule.
• Coordinate container loading and unloading, chassis shifting, and other transport-related operational tasks.
• Monitor transportation activities to maximize fleet utilization, operational efficiency, and service performance.
• Prepare and submit operational reports while keeping management informed of daily activities and exceptions.
• Review, verify, and process drivers' trip records and reimbursement claims with accuracy.
• Resolve operational challenges promptly and implement practical solutions to maintain uninterrupted transport operations.

• GCE 'N' Level qualification or an equivalent certification.
• At least 2 years of experience in a Traffic Controller or similar role within the transportation, logistics, or container haulage sector.
• Experienced in using Portnet and familiar with PSA port procedures.
• Familiarity with Singapore's road network, container depots, and port operations.
• Strong organizational, administrative, and coordination abilities with excellent attention to detail.
• Capable of managing multiple priorities, meeting deadlines, and performing effectively in a dynamic work environment.
