Warehouse Assistant

The Warehouse Assistant is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including handling, checking, sorting, packing, labelling and maintaining cargo in a safe and efficient manner. The role ensures all goods are processed accurately and warehouse standards of safety and housekeeping are maintained.

·      Receive, handle, load, unload incoming and outgoing cargo

·      Conduct checks on cargo to ensure accuracy and condition of incoming and outgoing cargo

·      Handle all goods withcare to prevent damage during movement and storage

·      Report any cargo damages, discrepancies or shortages to Supervisor / Team Leader

·      Sort cargo according to relevant SOP set by the Supervisor / Team Leader

·      Pack cargo securely based on handling guidelines and SOP

·      Ensure good housekeeping of the warehouse at all times

·      Ensure work areas are free from hazard and obstructions

·      Handle warehouse equipment/ tools in a proper and safe manner

·      Report any faulty or damaged equipment to Supervisor immediately

·      Support team members and assist in other warehouse duties as assigned by Supervisor or Management.
