Job Summary

Join Jamiyah FoodBank to support community welfare by managing food inventory, coordinating deliveries, and maintaining warehouse operations in a multicultural, inclusive environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute inbound and outbound processing of food items to ensure smooth warehouse operations
• Receive, inspect, and organize incoming deliveries to maintain accurate inventory records
• Load, unload, pack, sort, and rack food items efficiently within the warehouse
• Monitor and manage stock levels to ensure timely availability of food supplies for distribution
• Maintain a clean, organized, and accessible warehouse to support operational efficiency
• Escort Food Bank trucks during collection and delivery of food items to donors, sponsors, and beneficiaries
• Assist in transporting items and equipment to event locations as required
• Conduct stock-taking and support administrative tasks to maintain accurate records
• Adapt to additional duties as assigned to support team and operational needs

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred but not mandatory
• Ability to use warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory software
• Minimum Secondary or O level education
• Ability to work under deadlines and manage stress with attention to detail
• Systematic and organized approach to administrative work
• Flexibility to work after office hours or on weekends during event periods

Location Jamiyah FoodBank, Tannery Lane, Singapore

Job Type 5-Day Work Week, Monday to Friday, Saturday once a month

Salary will be commensurate with experience.
