Job Description: Warehouse Operator & Driver

Role Overview

We are seeking a reliable, safety-conscious, and dual-skilled Warehouse Operator & Driver to join our logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely using a company lorry, as well as managing day-to-day warehouse operations. A significant portion of this role involves handling, filling, and decanting chemical products, making adherence to strict safety protocols an absolute priority.

Key Responsibilities

🚛 Driving & Delivery Duties

• Operate a company lorry safely and efficiently to transport goods to designated locations.

• Plan optimal delivery routes to ensure timely drop-offs and pickups.

• Ensure all delivery documentation (e.g., delivery orders, transport documents) is accurately signed and processed.

• Perform daily pre-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety issues immediately.

📦 Warehouse & Chemical Operations

• Operate a forklift safely to load and unload goods from vehicles and containers.

• Stack, organize, and arrange stock within the warehouse to maximize space and maintain a tidy environment.

• Chemical Handling: Involve in the daily handling, filling, and decanting of chemical products during operational downtime.

• Perform inventory counts, stock checks, and report any discrepancies.

⚠️ Safety & Compliance

• Strictly adhere to Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) guidelines, especially regarding the handling and storage of hazardous materials/chemicals.

• Correctly use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.

• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in both the warehouse and the assigned vehicle.

Driving Credentials

Must possess a valid

Class 4 or Class 5 Driving License

with a clean driving record.

Machinery License

Valid

Forklift Driver's License

is strictly required.

Experience

Proven experience as a lorry driver and warehouse operator, preferably within a chemical or industrial environment.

Physical Capability

Physically fit and comfortable with manual labor, including lifting, filling, and decanting activities.

Safety Mindset

Strong awareness of chemical safety protocols (e.g., handling SDS, spill response is a plus).

Language

Ability to read and write basic English to check delivery orders and product labels.
