Air Freight Import Coordinator

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate and timely input of shipment information into system.
• Monitor shipments (arrival date, time, short landed, survey, missing).
• Coordinate with vendors on timely clearance / delivery of cargo.
• Issuing of freight invoices.
• Send all related documents to Company’s appointed vendors for permit declaration.
• Liaise with both sales support and sales team to ensure service quality to clients.
• Anticipate problems and take proactive actions to ensure smooth delivery, optimize value and proactively minimize demurrage.
• To monitor own performance and upkeep of individual KPI / KRA.
• Resolve and rectify any failure in system process and operational issues, if not escalation to superior.
• Align and support corporate’s direction and policies and inclined to BPO’s approach for standardization of process and increase Productivity and KPI.
• Accrual all costs in the system and book in vendors' invoices.
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties assigned by team leader and department manager.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 'O Level and above with 1 year working experience in Air Freight will be advantage.
• Good knowledge in Microsoft Office preferred
• Possess high initiative with good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Positive attitude with strong mindset to embrace system processes and must be a good team player in a fast paced environment.
• High attention to detail who is meticulous, attentive and proactive.
• Preferably candidates who can commence work within a short notice period.
