Responsibilities

• Develop, articulate and execute a comprehensive data strategy aligned with APAC DSC strategic objectives
• Establish and enforce data governance policies, standards, and procedures to ensure data integrity, privacy, and security
• Lead efforts to harness the power of data analytics and insights to drive innovation and enhance decision-making
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for leveraging data to achieve business objectives
• Drive cultural change to foster a data-driven mindset and promote a data-centric culture within the organization
• Lead and mentor a team of data professionals, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities
• Lead the exploration and adoption of data science techniques, machine learning algorithms, and artificial intelligence technologies to extract insights and create value from data
• Oversee the development and deployment of predictive models, algorithms, and AI-powered solutions
• Establish metrics and KPIs to monitor data quality and performance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Drive New Revenues & Cost savings with GP improvement through data analytics with new digital data products
• Set Digital Data Product Targets for regional and country teams.
• Oversee country work plans for Data Analytics with OE and provide coaching and support in achieving these targets
• Work with Global Data Analytics team to deliver value to countries in digital initiatives

Requirements

• Supply Chain Experience across APAC Regions
• Leading Regional &/or Global Programs on behalf of APAC
• Minimum 10 years of progressive information management solutions and end-to-end development life-cycle support and SDLC processes
• Minimum 8 years leading a team including architects, engineers, quality assurance, and operations professionals
• Degree in computer science or relevant field ; Master’s degree would be an advantage
• Established experience delivering information management solutions to large numbers of end users
• Demonstrated understanding of enterprise data warehouse, big data, BI & analytics, content management and data management
• Creative, independent, and highly motivated
• Logistics Business Acumen would be an advantage
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with methodologies of Agile (SCRUM) delivery methods
• Experience with various Data Technology Toolsets (Datalakes, Azure platform, non-SQL, SQL , Snowflake, Qlikview etc..)
• Experience in Machine Learning would be an advantage
• Strong understanding of data governance, data analytics, and business intelligence principles and best practices
• Proven track record of driving change and achieving results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
